What’s the best haircare routine for dry hair?

Dry and damaged hair usually feels coarse and brittle, it appears dull and lacklustre, and can be flat and hard to style. You may experience flyaways at the roots, split ends, and in some cases, dry skin on your scalp. There are a number of factors that can lead to dry hair, it's often caused by overusing heated styling tools and using products with striping ingredients.

The next step is all about nourishing the hair, we recommend using a leave in hair mask to really give your hair the moisture it needs. We recommend applying a hair mask once or twice a week depending on how dry is your hair.

Once you've rinsed out the hair mask it's the perfect opportunity to indulge in your new favourite haircare accessory. Apply your bamboo Cocoon Hair Towel Wrap to the hair for a relaxing cocooning experience, this extremely soft and absorbent hair wrap reduces hair breakage and frizz whilst drying your hair gently.

We suggest giving your hair a break from heated styling tools, let your hair dry naturally, however if you do need to blow dry your hair we suggest opting for a hairdryer with a cool setting and If we were to choose a drying tool we would recommend using the Dyson Sonic Hairdryer or the Dyson Airwrap as these tools aren't as hot as other hair drying tools. We always suggest using a heat protection spray before using heat on your hair. Our weightless control Styling Moisturiser has a heat protecting formula which will keep your hair smooth, protected and will keep natural volume.
